    阻水带是采用聚脂纤维非织造布与高吸水材料复合而成,具有吸水膨胀的功能。阻水带用于电力电缆,通讯光缆,可以减少电缆中水及潮气的渗入,提高电缆的工作寿命,其工作机理如下:
一般电力电缆多敷设在较潮湿的地下电缆沟内,埋地交联聚乙烯绝缘电力电缆在运行中。如遇意外事故出现电击穿现象时,地下水通过击穿点进入导电线芯,并沿线芯的绞合缝隙向电缆两端渗透,渗入的水分进入绝缘层,在电场长期作用下会加速绝缘层的老化,致使整根电缆报废。
    使用阻水带的电缆,当水进入伤口时,阻水带中所含的高吸水粉末,能利用其巨大的吸水性能将水吸收,粉末迅速膨胀至其本身体积的几百倍,变成凝胶体,犹如一道水坦,阻止水的流动,起到保护电缆的作用。
    使用阻水带的通讯光缆,可以防止水在光缆内部流动进入缆芯,当水沿电缆纵向流动至接点,端口或闭路内相连的设备时,将引起严重问题,因此使用阻水带将保证通讯信息传播通畅。
    Cable obsruct water belt
    Obsruct water belt is a complex of polyester fiber bonded cloth and high bibulous material,which has the function of expanding after sopping .Used in electrical cable and communication optical fiber cable,it can reduce the infiltration of the water and humidity in the cable ,and so increase the work life of the cable. The working mechanism is as follows:
The common electrical cables are usually laid in the waery and underground channel .during the running or burying cross-linked polyethylene insulating electrical cable,if meeting with the contingenecy and appear electric breakdown ,ground water will enter the electric core the breakdown hole and seeping water enter the insulated layer,under the long effect of electric field ,it can expedite the aging of the insulated layer,even discard the whole cable as useless.
    As using the obstruct water belt,when water entering the cut ,the high bibulous farina contained in the belt can take advantage of its huge seeping ability to absorb water ,The farina rapidly expands to the size of several hundred times of its volume.Just as a water calm ,which resist the water flow and protect the cable.
    By using the communication cable of obstruct water belt,we can prevent waer from fiowing into the core .When water longitudinally fiows to the couple end or the connective equipment in the close circuit,it will cause serious problems.Therefore,the use of obstruct water belt will ensure the unblocked spreading of the communication information
